Photographing scrapbook pages

I've got something super-special in the works for this week! Stay tuned for my 'Blogiversary' celebration, starting Wednesday. In the mean time, several people have asked how I photograph scrapbook pages, so I thought I would share my secret with you!

Ta-daaaaaa!

what size is that and where would you buy that??
also, do you put it on the floor and shoot from above it?? I always struggle with taking a photo of my 12 x 12 pages, any help you have would be appreciated.

Tracy,
It's a standard 20"x30" piece of foam core. This one I got at Dollar Tree, but you can get it at Walmart, Target, Office Depot, Staples, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Office Max, and other places like that. Look by the posterboard. I take it outside for the natural light, put the foam core on the grass in the shade, my pages on the foam core, then stand above (and lean over just a tad) to photograph. If it's raining or dark and I absolutely must photograph a page (it happens!), I put the foam core on my kitchen floor and reluctantly use a flash.
