Cool Summer Picnic
Click on the pic to see a larger version! I am really pleased how this turned out. It's the first time I've attempted a scrapbook layout using ONLY Stampin' Up! products. The DSP is from the Summer Picnic pack in the 2008 Occasions Mini (available March 1st). You might not be able to see it clearly, but the light blue paper has a white dotted pattern.
The white photo cards AND the photo corners are held on with 2-way glue (I let it dry before sticking down), so those things can easily be removed and real photos put in and adhered permanently with different adhesive when I'm ready to do that. Also, I used chipboard circles from the OnBoard Accents pack, but you could just as easily punch 1-1/4" circles out of kraft cardstock.
Stamps: So Cool
Papers: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Real Red, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Summer Picnic DSP
Inks: Creamy Caramel, Real Red, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue (all used for inking edges of elements)
Markers: RR, OO, PP, BB, Basic Black
Punches: Round Tab, Photo Corners, 1" Circle, 1/2" Circle
Other: On Board Accents (chipboard circles), pewter brads, Pumpkin Pie ribbon, 2-Way glue pen, Mono Multi, Glue Dots, Stampin' dimensionals, Crop-A-Dile, sanding block
Here's the preliminary sketch I did before starting. As you can see, the design evolved.
