Yep, that's how much this thing cost me. Of course it required some careful measuring and a bit of effort, but two sheets of foam core are all I had to buy. And I still have half a sheet left over. It honestly took me three times longer to put together instructions and pattern pieces to share than to actually make the thing. (Can you tell I'm still working on completing my color collections? I'm about to order the rest of the Bold Brights. Then the Soft Subtles for Christmas!)

Hey everyone! I've triple-checked the link and it's working fine. If you can view a PDF file, you should have no problems. If you right click on the link and choose 'Save target as' or 'Save link as' (depending on your browser), you can save it directly to your hard drive without going through the browser version of Adobe Reader.

ReplyDeletePerhaps try again in a few minutes? I just opened the file by clicking on the link, so everything is working as it should. The file is located on my server; if the server is up, the file is available, and I have 99% server uptime. However, if several people are trying to download the file at the same time, it might take a bit longer, and your browser might time out before it can access the file. (The PDF has been downloaded successfully close to 7,000 times. Shoulda charged a dollar for it!!)

I was also thinking that if you modified it to make more narrow columns, say for paint or other supples, then wanted 'adjustable shelves in them, you could use pins to hold the shelf in place, and easily move it when you needed to. Might just work!

ReplyDeleteOn page five of the PDF file, there's a template for the side pieces that you can cut out and trace. Also on the template itself are measurements for the various edge lengths on that piece.

I've been searching for an inexpensive and attractive way to store my ink pads (I've fairly new at stamping so I only have 12 SU! ink pads)and you gave it to me!!! I'll be heading out first thing in the morning to get the materials! I'd love to modify mine so that I have individual cubbies for each ink pad. But I'm not nearly as good as you are! When using Google Chrome, it just directed me to another Google page. I installed "Google Drive" to my computer and now I am able to open the file!
